Opening and saving a pattern on an Apple iPad or iPhone

Opening a pattern with Safari.

1. Tap the “Download” button.

2. The pattern should open automatically in Safari.

Printing the pattern in Safari.

You can send the pattern to your printer app as follows:

1. When viewing your pattern with Safari, tap the page. The option to “Open in…” should appear briefly near the top right-hand corner of the pattern and “More…” near the top left-hand corner.

2. Tap “More…” to open a dropdown menu app list.

3. Tap “Print”.

Saving the pattern to iBooks.

If you save the pattern to iBooks you can view it even when not connected to the Internet.

iBooks is free from the Apple App Store.

1. When viewing your pattern with Safari, tap the page. The option to “Open in iBooks” should appear briefly near the top right-hand corner of the pattern.

2. Tap this link to open and save the file in iBooks.

Printing patterns in iBooks.

1. When viewing your pattern with iBooks, tap the Share button in the top menu bar.

2. Tap “Print”.

3. Select a printer, page range, and number of copies.
